JIM DEMAREST: A SUMMER DRIVE TO THE CLUB
“I have been a NY commercial photographer for over 50 years, so now I pick and choose the clients I want to work with. Silk&Soul is one of those clients, fun, creative, and great people. When it came time to do an editorial collaboration with Silk&Soul, I reached out to the beautiful Leah Mailloux, who I have work with many times, and my longtime assistant Jim Corpin, and asked if they wanted to participate, of course they both said yes. We met at the arranged location, Jim and the sports car, Leah with wardrobe, and I with camera equipment and silk products. This was just one of those laid back, and fun editorial photo shoots to do on a late summer day. When I told the team we were going to be in The Style Researcher again, they were all excited. This will be the third time Leah, Jim, and I have done an editorial in this magazine. Awesome.”
